Welcome the newest Greene... this is Norwood! Here we are in the car right after picking him out! He wasn't too sure about me, but he stuck close the whole car ride!
We named him Norwood after the current Atlanta Falcon's and former Mississippi State running back, Jerious Norwood. In keeping with the Greene tradition of naming pets after college football figures. Zach and I watched Norwood (human) break and set school records during undergrad. We will now enjoy Norwood (cat) as part of our family in our home.
I like to refer to Norwood as "preparation for parenthood." We got Norwood this past weekend and spent most of the evening after we got him "kitten-proofing" the apartment. We tried to eliminate most small crawl spaces behind and under furniture; however, kittens are small. Like REALLY tiny. And he's finding a way to contortionze his body to fit is places you wouldn't even think of! Kudos to the smart ninja kitty!

He's still sizing us up and checking out his new place. He loves the big window in the florida room... lots to watch! Please also note his little gimp tail. He was born with only half his tail, but we love his quirkiness!
but Norwood loves wrestling with it, and his daddy is so proud! He's a snuggler, and i LOVE that! the first night in the apartment was a Norwood sandwich all night long. He stayed in the bed the whole night with us. Whenever i shifted in the night, he snuggled right back next to me. such a lover!
see what i mean about the snuggling? so adorable!
