much has been going on since my last blog post. i'm embarrassed to say that it's been over 4 months since an update... so, here is a quick update!
zach and i went back to nicaragua with global health outreach and the christian medical and dental association in march to serve in a medical and dental clinic. i led the children's ministry again this year while zach worked in the clinics. it was amazing just as it was the year before- i am always humbled by the way the lord transforms me in just one week. the group has become another family to us, and it's like a family reunion each year.
zach is finishing up his 3rd year of medical school, and i will be leaving my current job as a dental assistant this upcoming week. we will celebrate zach's 25th birthday and our 2nd wedding anniversary before starting the next chapter in july. zach will start a very busy 4th year of medical school, and i will be moving back to mississippi for several months. we'll be saying goodbye to gainesville until 2013. zach will be doing externships in jackson, ms and memphis, tn and spending the rest of the time in mississippi with me. i'm looking forward to spending time with my family and mississippi state football!
and what better way to wrap up a great chapter than a well-deserved vacation... zach and i cruise to the bahamas in one week!!!
