with our new addition, crafts have taken a backseat. we love having a furry friend running around. and if you missed out on the lateset news- Norwood is actually a girl! i took her to the vet last week and was informed that i had been misinformed on the gender of our kitten. oops! the official name is still Norwood, but we've been calling her "Nora" for short! she had a few issues (ear mites, hook worm, respiratory infection, etc.), but they're being treated and she is feeling lots better! she is a lover more than ever, and likes to curl up in your lap while you're watching TV and sleeps in the crook of my neck. it's not annoying- it's adorable! she also follows me around the apartment like a dog... love it!

i'm wanted to make new pillow covers for our florida room.
a friend's birthday is coming up, and we are having a bake night/ potluck/ sleep over/ chick flick movie night to celebrate. i'm going to make here these quilted pot holders! I'll post pics of the finished products later!
